Come join the fun! Join us for a morning of family fun at the Evanston Public Library. There will be face painting, storytelling, and arts and crafts. This is a free event! No registration required. Sponsored by the McGaw YMCA Adventure Guides Program. The Adventure Guides is a program offered in YMCAs across the country designed to strengthen the relationship between fathers and their children in grades K-3rd grade.

Always Free
* Barnes and Noble--(Evanston) Story time Saturday's and Monday's at 10:30 AM. They also have a fun Thomas the Train table for the kids to play with.
* Chicago Botanic Garden--Free but parking is expensive. Some people do park farther away and walk.
* Dearborn Observatory--Friday nights from 9-11 pm. (9-10 pm reservations required, 10-11 pm walk-ins are welcome)
* Evanston Public Library--The downtown library has a great play area for kids. Metered parking behind library, or heated parking underground.
* Lincoln Park Zoo--Free and metered parking on neighboring streets.
* Mary and Leigh Block Museum of Art--Closed Monday's. Parking is free on the weekends, and after 4 PM on weekdays
* Ravinia--Children under the age of 5 are admitted free on Chicago Symphony Orchestra days for lawn seating.
* Wagner Farm--Public visitation hours Thurs - Sun from 1:00 - 5:00 pm. Farm story time at 4:00 pm each Thursday.
